William June Boy Outlaw
William is a natural leader and has been a key figure in helping to lower New Haven's homicide rate over the last decade by giving back to the community. He Co-directs the Connecticut Violence Interruption Project, which seeks to reduce youth violence in New Haven. He is also Senior Community Advocate at Good Will where he helps formerly incarcerated people reenter the community. video Gallery
Jacqueline Purcell
Jacquie is the Founder of Evolution Reentry Services, an organization dedicated to helping justice-impacted women rebuild their lives through empowerment and transparency. She has helped over 200 women rebuild their lives after incarceration. Jacquie holds an MBA, MSW and MSCJ and speaks at criminal justice reform conferences throughout the country. As a property title researcher, she is currently working on a national education and housing initiative for formerly incarcerated individuals. video Gallery
Ameer Williams
Ameer Willians is a New Haven Police Department sergeant, and he also formed a Pardon Company called M.E.G.A Inc., which stands for Making Everyone Great Again. Ameer has assisted over 500 people with the pardon process in the states of Connecticut, Virginia and he’s gotten records sealed in the state of New York. Plus, to top it off, Ameer continues to serve his community by offering a free notary service. video Gallery

Keith Smith, Jr. is the Founder and Lead Coach at Path to Purpose, a tech-enabled transformational coaching practice for opportunity youth and returning citizens. Keith is passional about helping young people from low-income backgrounds combat economic and social influences and build positive, productive, and purposeful lives. Mindy is a CCAR Recovery Coach Professional and an Emergency Department Recovery Coach. She has a passion to serve and enjoys "planting seeds of hope" to inspire others to stay in the recovery process. Mindy speaks throughout New England on long term recovery. Tracie Bernardi Guzman
Tracie is a voice of change and has testified before the House and Senate sharing her lived experience through her work as an American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of CT Smart Justice Leader. More recently she offered testimony to support HB 6875 on CT State Identification. This law will help cover costs to ensure that everyone leaves prison with a State ID. video Gallery
Annette Diaz
Annette Diaz has been working over 10 years with one of the largest behavioral health networks in Eastern CT implementing the culture of recovery throughout the agency. She also developed policies that assisted the Peer workforce development, as well as created jobs for people with lived experience. Annette also served as a Trustee for CT Hearing voices movement and played a major role with its development in Connecticut. Annette assists persons with disabilities, veterans and seniors navigate transportation options in North Central CT at a non-profit called Amplify. video Gallery
